Apple Watch Series 8&SE 2 at Apple's fall event
Oct 03, 2022| Apple Watch Series 8&SE 2 at Apple's fall event
The usual starters are the Apple Watch. This year Apple introduced a three-line update to its smartwatch, bringing the Apple Watch Series 8, the Apple Watch SE 2, and the ultra-hardcore Apple Watch Ultra.
The Apple Watch Series 8 supports temperature monitoring, boasting an accuracy of up to 0.1 degrees Celsius. Apple also uses a dedicated algorithm based on temperature monitoring to bring improved women's health features, such as tracking menstrual cycles and ovulation, and warning when menstruation is irregular.

There's also a new feature that Apple hopes users won't use -- crash detection, which only works when they're driving. The Apple Watch Series 8 lasts a familiar 18 hours, which can be extended to 36 hours in low-power mode, which turns off several features but retains activity tracking and crash detection.

The Apple Watch SE has also been upgraded, while the classic Series 3 has been removed from the shelves. The new Apple Watch SE upgrades its S8 SiP chip and supports car crash detection, with a redesigned nylon composite back. Available in 40mm and 44mm aluminum cases, the case design has not changed, while still lacking the AOD display.
