Although we all know that Apple is a very profitable company, many people still believe that the most profitable part of Apple is the sales of digital products such as the iPhone. But it is now questionable whether Apple will be able to make money from proprietary interfaces in the future. Because the European Union has officially submitted a proposal to unify digital charging ports, if approved, it will mean that all digital charging ports will be unified into USB-C ports, at least in the European Union. This doesn't matter much to other companies, since everyone except Apple uses USB-C ports, but for Apple, it's a way out of their pocket.
