A DigiTimes report on laptop shipments published yesterday mentioned that Apple will launch a new MacBook Air in the second half of 2022, which is in line with a recent prediction by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. According to DigiTimes, Apple's MacBook Pro, released in late 2021, has continued to sell well into the first quarter of 2022 with higher-than-expected shipments, and the new MacBook Air, which is expected to launch in the second half of the year, will further boost sales of Apple's Mac products. The new MacBook Air will have a 13.6-inch, M2 chip and the same eight-core CPU, but an increased number of GPU cores, with a choice of nine or 10 cores.
