Apple and Microsoft's diverging performance after their latest earnings reports reportedly widened the gap between their market values to more than $700 billion at the end of last week, the largest on record. Apple closed Friday with a market value of $2.48 trillion, while Microsoft closed last week with a market value of $1.76 trillion. According to Dow Jones Market Data, the gap between the two companies' market values is an all-time high of $719.24 billion, almost as large as Tesla's market value of $721.61 billion.
