The previous four iPad Mini models didn't show a significant increase in screen performance once they reached retina resolution. But in the new iPad Mini, the screen gets a big boost.
First of all, the resolution is still 2048x1536, which makes iPad Mini the product with the highest PPI (326) in the family product line. The iPad Pro also has a PPI of just 264. The super-sharp screen allows the tablet to read Web content clearly even though the screen size is not as big as its two big brothers.
On the screen this time, the iPad Mini has a full screen and supports TrueTone color display. The original color display allows the tablet to automatically adjust the color temperature of the screen in different color temperature environments, so that the eyes are more comfortable when reading and watching the screen.
The technology is also a first for the Mini product line and greatly enhances the experience of using the Mini screen.
The screen performance of the iPad Air should be said to be the same as that of the previous iPad Pro 10.5, including 2224x1668 retina resolution, including full-fit display, including raw color display. As a result, the laptop's screen upgrade isn't as pronounced as the iPad Mini's.
