6.1-inch screen, multi-version model, Google Pixel 7a series exposure
Oct 26, 2022| 6.1-inch screen, multi-version model, Google Pixel 7a series exposure
This follows the release of Google's Pixel 7 line of phones. A Tensor G2 chip with a 5,000mah battery has gone on sale.
Now, the latest news also mentions another new addition to Google's Pixel 7 line of phones, the Google Pixel 7a.
The latest news is that Pixel 7a content appeared in Amazon's recent news feeds. No specific date has been given for the new product's arrival, but it's unlikely to be too far away.
According to the profile, Google released the Pixel 6a in July, a few months after the launch of the Pixel 6 series. That said, the current Pixel 6a is still a relatively new device.
With the latest Pixel 7 series, though, Google has brought an all-new Tensor chip and a redesigned rear-camera module. Therefore, it's possible that Google will release an early iteration of the new Pixel 7a version.
As for the actual launch date, the Pixel 7a is rumored to be scheduled for early 2023. But given that there is no definite news yet, the exact timing of the information is not known.
Previous sources have mentioned product code names for the new Pixel 7 line. The Pixel 7 is code-named "Panther," the Pixel 7 Pro is "Cheetah," and the Pixel 7a is "Felix."
Historically, the Pixel 7a will have a smaller display than the standard Pixel 7, so it's likely to be around 6.0-6.1 inches.
Meanwhile, Amazon's announcement refers to the "Pixel 7a series," not just the "Pixel 7a." Therefore, there is speculation that Google may bring more than one product update this time, possibly the Pixel 7a and Pixel 7a XL.
However, there are no specific specifications and release date for the new device yet, and the actual product condition has yet to be verified.
In addition, in addition to the traditional phone series of changes, Google is also expected to introduce a series of folding screen products.
Google's Pixel Fold will be called the Pixel Fold and will have both internal and external screens made by Samsung. It's likely to have a similar interior screen size to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4, but a smaller exterior screen.
Previous leaks have suggested it could debut sometime this year, but the latest news suggests it could launch in March 2023.
