3C certification

The 3C certification is called “China Compulsory Certification”, and the abbreviation CCC.

It is a product conformity assessment system implemented by the Chinese government to protect consumers' personal safety and national security, strengthen product quality management, and implement laws and regulations.

In order to fulfill its commitment to join the World Trade Organization, the Chinese government issued a compulsory product certification system on December 3, 2001. From May 1, 2002, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration began accepting the first batch of compulsory products.
